The third generation refrigerant R404A has zero ozone depletion potential (ODP), but the global warming potential (GWP) is very high. St.Marche replaces R404A with the cost-effective HFO refrigerant R449A. With zero ODP and low GWP, the R449A performs well in terms of safety, refrigeration performance and sustainability, and is compatible with R-404A equipment and lubricants without the need to modify the system.
